If your radiators feel cold at the top but warm at the bottom, trapped air could be the problem. Bleeding your radiators is a quick and simple fix that helps improve heat output and energy efficiency.
Start by turning off your heating and letting the radiator cool. Use a radiator key to slowly turn the bleed valve (usually at the top corner). You’ll hear a hissing sound as air escapes. Once water begins to flow steadily, close the valve tightly.
After bleeding, check your boiler pressure and top it up if needed. Doing this regularly can keep your heating system running smoothly and efficiently.
